Andrew & Grace - 10 Years!

Cheers to 10 years! Andrew and Grace met in March 2008- set up on a blind date by a mutual friend. It was only a few weeks before they were hanging out nearly every day and knew that they had found ‘the one.’ On August 1, 2008 Andrew proposed to Grace while they enjoyed a romantic moment on the beach. Grace said, “and we said ‘I do, I will, I choose you forever.” She added, “We’re celebrating 10 years with these beautiful photos and a brand new HVAC system in our home. Who says romance has to die?!” That made us laugh and is definitely so true!

We convinced Grace to do a session for this special occasion- it is perfect for anyone who looks back on their wedding photos with less than excitement, or for anyone who just wants some updated pictures. Grace chose a Mr. Pretty Skirt in a gorgeous blue and paired it with a lace long sleeve top. The location? One of her friend’s back yards during a snowstorm. Kelly posted a picture of her trees that morning on Instagram and captioned it “winter wonderland.” Indeed, it was! Thank you for letting us use your space!

Grace and Andrew have built a beautiful life together these past 10 years and welcomed 3 awesome children along the way! We know you will have an amazing anniversary this year, and many many more to come!

Congratulations!

Love,

Kerry and Kerri

Traci's Maternity Session

Our first maternity session of 2019 was nothing short of amazing! Julio and Traci made the trip to Maryland just for a short visit and their maternity session, how awesome is that? Traci is Kerry’s childhood friend- all the way back to the 3rd grade! Traci and Kerry lived down the street from each other in New Jersey, where they were inseparable until they both went to colleges out of state (MD and PA). And although life’s circumstances and distance hasn’t allowed for many chances to see each other, they didn’t skip a beat last weekend!

We chose Piney Run Park in Sykesville for the session location. It was a very cold January day but we did okay with the help of some robes and blankets! Traci’s long sleeve dress by Sew Trendy was a really beautiful winter choice. We also did Traci’s hair that afternoon and made her flower crown to go with the color of her dress. Everything came together so nicely! Julio & Traci, we are so happy for you both and cannot wait to see photos of that sweet baby girl! We hope you can always look back on these photos and remember this special time just before you became parents.

Baby Brayden - Lifestyle Newborn Session

As some of you may know, I am also a part-time nanny for a wonderful family.  A couple weeks ago, they just welcomed their 3rd baby boy!  It was a lot of fun to be able to photograph not only the new little squish, but his big brothers who I get to see every week!

Brayden was a sleeping champ and let me pose him through toddler chaos and his barking dog. He is already playing his birth order role just fine! Mom made cute white shirts for each of the boys that read "Big Brother, Middle Brother, and Little Brother."  Thankfully we captured one where the words were readable and the big brothers were looking and smiling!  We also captured plenty of silly faces and giggles, which always end up being our favorites!

Thank you for having us as your photographers!  We both can't wait to watch him grow. :)

Snow Day Family Session- Sykesville, MD

Back in December, we got our first snow of the season here in Sykesville, MD.  It happened to be a Saturday, so we made a family hangout day out of it.  My Christmas Eve nephew baby was about to turn 1, so we thought a snowy session would be great!

We took a few indoor portraits, to keep Jackson happy and comfortable, although 1 year-olds can be tricky to keep on the set!  So we headed outside for some family fun, and it was Jackson's first time really getting to experience the snow!  It was pretty cold and he became uncomfortable quickly.  It's a good thing he is such a happy, smiley baby for Aunt Kerry! ;)

I can't help but throw in a few of his newborn portraits at the end.  This year has flown by and it has been such a joy to have him in our family.  We love you guys!
